Astrophysicist Naomi Carver starts a new job in the town of Mercy River Wyoming. She finds herself the hope of a town that has been in decline ever since the local Uranium mine shut down. In the midst of her move, her new job, and these new expectations she makes a startling discovery deep within the mine.
Naomi finds herself the center of attention once again, but her discovery raises more questions. She continues to search for answers, but the divide between her and the people of Mercy River widens.
